“MPV V1”: Michael Paul Williams Version 1

First seen at the 2022 ITG Conference in San Antonio, the “MPW V1” is a collaborative effort between Carol Brass, Niche Trumpet and lead trumpeter Mike Williams.
Special attention has been paid to the placement of each brace in order to create a vibrant response between the bell and leadpipe. The heart of the horn is thick in gauge and is complimented by recessed top caps, heavy weight bottom caps and finger buttons.
The result is a very free blowing instrument with a rich, complex sound. Ultimately, Mike and I both agree that the horn is best suited for a jazz soloist or section player with optimal range around high F#. We are happy to pass this horn along to you!
