These little Selmer’s are a blast to perform on and have maintained their notoriety throughout the years. The brass and construction is top notch with no signs of red rot anywhere present on the horn after fifty plus years of use. It does appear that the leadpipe may have gotten stuck and was removed which left some external scarring on the brass (see pictures). Otherwise, the slides are in great condition as are the valves. Plating on the valves is 100% with very good compression across the board. Bell rim was repaired from a minor roll, and the work to reshape it was well done.
I’m a crap piccolo trumpet player, but for me this horn plays great!
